Several members of the St. Louis Archdiocese participated in a Flu Shot Clinic at St. Justin Martyr Parish in Sappington Mo, Thursday, October 15, 2010. While many took the shots in stride, some of the younger participants had a tough time.
If you've ever gotten a flu vaccine, you know that it takes very little time. The hardest part of this shoot was anticipating the moments and capturing them before they had passed. The only shot I regret is of the mother and her daughter. I would have loved to have been a few feet to the left and closer for this shot. I guess you can't always be in the right place at the right time.
It wasn't until after I finished this shoot that I learned my photojournalism instructor hates needles. Oh well.
