A general weather shoot assignment can be a photojournalism students worst nightmare. Here is my humble attempt at capturing the citizens of St. Louis reacting to the weather during the last week of September, 2010.
This was one of my earliest shoots, and I believe it represents a turning point in my photography. In this shoot, I began to see with more of a photographer's eye. In the first shot I saw the texture of the wall and the color of the boots and the umbrella. In the second shot, I saw the little detail of his raised foot. And in the third shot, I anticipated and captured a fleeting moment.
